Re: Failed to execute goal on project alluxio-core-client-fs: Could not resolve dependencies

Hi Fabio,

Here are the instructions to build Alluxio from source code: https://www.alluxio.org/docs/1.8/en/contributor/Building-Alluxio-From-Source.html
To build Alluxio,  "mvn compile findbugs:findbugs" is to find the style and potential bugs in the source code,
which is not required unless you are patching Alluxio source code by yourself.
If that is your goal,
I would suggest to run "mvn clean install" first before running "mvn compile findbugs:findbugs"

Hope it helps.

Thank you for your response.

Here are the instructions to build Alluxio from source code: https://www.alluxio.org/docs/1.8/en/contributor/Building-Alluxio-From-Source.html

Those are actually the instructions I followed, but in vain.

I would suggest to run "mvn clean install" first before running "mvn compile findbugs:findbugs"

Yup. Doing so allowed  the process to keep going.

Thanks,
